Even thistles have flowers. That’s how I’m feeling about the veggie garden this year. We started out with a 70x80 pig pen and have been working our behinds off to till it up, amend the soil, manage the weeds, plant the veggies, build the trellis’s, remove cucumber beetles, keep everything watered etc etc etc. It’s been a HUGE learning curve. Somethings are going great, while we’re struggling with other things. The lesson in all of this is that nothing is perfect and it’s important to embrace the beauty in the struggle. That’s where the deepest learning happens. And I love that. What are your garden challenges this year?
