June is Pride Month. It is a time to celebrate the strength, diversity, and resilience of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, while also reflecting on the progress that has been made and the work that continues toward a more inclusive and compassionate society for all.

On Monday, members of the Bethell Hospice team gathered together for a Pride flag raising in recognition of Pride Month and our ongoing commitment to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone.

At Bethell Hospice, we proudly stand with and recognize our staff, volunteers, residents, clients, families, and community members who identify as 2SLGBTQIA+. You are welcome here. You are valued. And you are celebrated just as you are.

Thank you to George Sant & Sons Greenhouses for their generous support of the plant sale at Bethell Hospice. Through their donation of beautiful planters, along with support from Lakeside Garden Gallery for their donation of soil and mulch, and a matching gift from Scotiabank, Bethell Hospice Foundation raised funds in support of compassionate hospice palliative care.

A special thank you as well to Foundation Board Member, Rebekah, for collecting perennials for the sale and helping make this event possible.

We are incredibly grateful for the generosity and community support that continues to make events like this such a success. Together, we raised over $6,000!

We are honoured to share that Bethell Hospice was both a nominee and a Top 3 Finalist at the Dufferin Board of Trade Business Excellence Awards Gala!

To be recognized alongside so many incredible non-profit organizations across Dufferin County is truly meaningful, and we are so proud to have been named a finalist this year.

We share this recognition with our colleagues at Bethell Hospice Foundation and celebrate this achievement together.
