Sovaldi (sofosbuvir) is a direct-acting antiviral medication that works by blocking the hepatitis C virus (HCV) from multiplying in your body. By targeting a key viral enzyme, Sovaldi helps reduce the viral load to undetectable levels, giving your immune system a chance to clear the infection.

Cirrhosis is a serious liver condition characterized by permanent scarring that disrupts normal liver function.
