Fall On Wellness

Fall On Wellness I suffered from migraines starting at the age of 10. Life was so hard and I felt helpless. Medications did nothing, or only masked the pain for a short time.

Fall On Wellness helps people with chronic migraine raise their migraine threshold so they can have fewer migraine days, stop constantly scanning for triggers, and start feeling more in control of their life again. As I grew older, they gradually got worse and worse until I was experiencing 25 or more migraine days a month. In my mid 30's I had my daughter and the migraines continued to get worse.

I knew that I could not continue my life this way and I refused to let migraine control my life. The stress from missing work and having to take care of my daughter on my own no matter how sick I was was too much. This is when I discovered something that finally worked! Now, I help people reduce their monthly migraine days and the severity of their headaches without the use of medication by teaching them how to incorporate an Ancestrial way of living into their daily lives. I have personally experienced the benefits of this and have reduced my monthly migraine days from 25+ down to 2 or less.

What to eat to support migraine does not need to be complicated or overly restrictive. Focusing on ensuring you are getting protein, healthy fats and fiber in each meal can go along way. Reducing processed foods and sugars to reduce inflammation and support your body with real food.

Save this before starting another elimination diet.

Skipping meals or eating carb only snacks can affect blood sugar stability, which can cause a stress signal to the nervous system, lowering your migraine threshold. Eating simple, balanced meals can help with this. Start with protein, fiber rich carbs and healthy fats in each meal. Eating regularly throghout the day- every 3-4 hours for most people also helps.

Migraine pain is real pain produced by the nervous system. In many people, especially with chronic migraine, the brain and pain pathways can become sensitized and overprotective. This means the nervous system may start interpreting normal internal or external inputs as danger, creating a real migraine attack even when there is no tissue damage or structural problem showing up on scans.

Trigger chasing keeps you afraid. Threshold building gives you a plan.

If there was one thing causing your migraine attacks, you'd likely have found it already.

When you start looking at the bigger picture- an accumulation of things that may be lowering your threshold, rather than avoiding that 'one' thing, you can start to work on raising your migraine threshold, rather avoiding more and more things.

Just because you can push through doesn’t mean you should.

Many people living with migraine become experts at ignoring their body’s warning signs—fatigue, hunger, stress, or sensory overload—until they're forced to stop.

Those early signals aren't weakness. They're your body's way of asking for support before your migraine threshold is reached.

Functioning is not the same as thriving.

Sometimes we don't even notice that our life has become smaller.

I always thought that I was just an introvert (and I am), but I thought that was the main reason I prefered to stay home, have the music on low, leave every event early. Turns out that many of those things were actually me worrying about a migraine attack being triggered- and that was making my life smaller.

When I started raising my migraine threshold and my migraine attacks became fewer and fewer in between, I noticed my life was getting bigger again. The music got a little louder, I stayed out a little longer and I looked forward to getting out of the house more often.

Save this if you want your life to feel bigger again.

Migraine attacks can feel like they come out of nowhere, but they are often triggered when your threshold is already low- and that one thing- the chocolate bar, the added stress, accumulated sleep disruption added to it, tips your threshold over the edge and the migraine attack is triggered.

No more cancelling plans, no more body scanning, no more calling in sick!

I used to suffer from 25 migraine days a month, and I no longer do. I did this by raising my migraine threshold- focusing on reducing the overall load on my nervous system.

Through blood sugar stability, reducing inflammation in the body, and introduing daily mindfullness techniques, I was able to calm my nervous system and experience fewer and less severe migraine attacks.

That mid-afternoon crash isn’t random — it’s often blood sugar dropping.
When energy dips, your threshold dips too.

Small meal changes can make a big difference.
