At RnD Skin Co., skincare and self-care don’t have to stop during pregnancy or postpartum. We offer a selection of treatments that may be considered pregnancy & breastfeeding safe — including our RnD Classic Facial, AFA Peels, Dermaplaning, Oxygen RX Facial, and a modified Bela MD+ treatment, which includes hydrogen water infusion and select customized serum infusion ✨

What’s important to know is that some treatments are only considered safe because we make thoughtful adjustments to your protocol. Your safety always comes first.

We always recommend consulting with your obstetrician or doctor before booking any treatment, as they know your personal medical history and can best advise you on what’s appropriate for you.

And please, always let your aesthetician know if you are pregnant — no matter how early 🤍 We keep all information completely confidential, and this allows us to make any necessary modifications to ensure your treatment is both safe and supportive for you and baby.

Thinking your makeup SPF is enough ☁️

If your foundation says SPF 30, it doesn’t mean you’re actually getting SPF 30 protection from a typical makeup application. SPF testing is done using a much thicker, more uniform amount than most people wear day-to-day — so in reality, you’re often only getting a fraction of the labeled protection.

That’s where the distinction matters:
• Makeup with SPF = added benefit
• SPF-first products = true sun protection

For everyday protection, we always recommend either:
• A dedicated SPF underneath your makeup
or
• An SPF-first complexion product (like Colorescience) designed to be applied in a way that actually delivers reliable coverage

This way, you’re intentionally protecting your skin.
