If you're tracking sleep, track all six dimensions, not just hours.

Most people reduce sleep to one question: "How many hours did you get?"

But sleep is so much richer than that. It's a multi-dimensional experience that includes when you sleep, how easily you fall asleep, whether you wake feeling rested, and how alert you feel during the day.

When you stop obsessing over one metric and start seeing the whole picture, you can actually understand what your body needs.

Drop a 💙 if this reframes how you think about sleep.

Your focus is a magnet.

Set a small intention to be completed in the next block of time in front of you.

Decide 15 minutes, 30 minutes, one hour. Keep the scope small and stay dedicated to the flow and creation of that intention in that amount of time.

You have the ability to connect with the knowledge and wisdom of your spirit and the collective consciousness, and with the spirit of the project or the thing you are translating from the invisible to the visible.

You will create amazing things in small chunks.

There are still some jurisdictions who are uneducated about the health and safety effects of using Daylight Saving Time. It’s so hard on you. Come on, people!

Your SCN (suprachiasmatic nucleus), the master clock regulating the intricate rhythms of your body, does NOT like DST.

The abruptness of it is an assault on each system’s unique timing.

🫀 Your cardiovascular system revs up in the mornings.

🍽️ Your digestive activity aligns with your mealtimes.

🌙 Your pineal gland triggers the release of melatonin in response to darkness to induce sleep.

☀️ Your liver likes to detoxify primarily during the very early morning hours.

💧 Your kidneys produce less urine at night (thankfully).

Every organ has a delicate rhythm. And every cell. All of life is rhythmical.

It may take you 3-4 weeks to adapt to being forced out of bed earlier than your brain and body want. Your children will struggle too.

👉 Here’s what to do:

Simply give yourself a little extra time in the mornings for the next few weeks, especially on Monday morning. Don’t rush. Be gentle with your body. And be patient with your children, yourself, and your colleagues.

Clocks Spring Forward on Sunday… but should they? ⏰

Daylight Saving Time is back to mess with your sleep, your mood, and your driving skills. Studies show more accidents, heart attacks, and workplace errors for days after the time change, and for many weeks. Not good.

Be sleep-smart. Here are tips to help you survive the spring forward:
➡️ Shift bedtime gradually — Start your sleep ritual 15 minutes earlier each night.
➡️ Chase the light — Morning sunlight helps reset your sensitive circadian clock.
➡️ Ease off caffeine — By 2pm every day.
➡️ Tech timeout — Power down all screens 1 hour before bed.
➡️ Power nap wisely — Take short 20-30 minute naps only. Set your alarm to get up. Avoid naps altogether if you have insomnia.
