✨ MEET YOUR 2026 FINALISTS! ✨

The Junior cowgirls are bringing the speed to the poles!

Hadley Miller finished the season at the top of the Junior Pole Bending standings, earning the title of 2026 Season Leader! 🏆

Congratulations to Hadley and all of our Junior Pole Bending finalists heading to Finals!

It’s going to take speed, precision and clean runs to come out on top. We can’t wait to see these cowgirls take on the Finals arena!

THE COWGIRL IS ONLY AS GOOD AS THE HORSE BESIDE HER. 🐴

As we head toward Finals, it’s time to recognize the four-legged teammates who have carried our cowgirls through another season.

The Working Horse of the Year — Smoky Jim Hancock Memorial Award is presented in memory of “Jimmy,” one of the most talented horses to ever grace the CGRA rodeo arena.

Owned by Brenda Knight, Jimmy was the definition of a versatile rodeo horse. He was an outstanding calf and goat horse, breakaway roping, heeling and hazing partner — and even an undecorating horse when called upon. With an exceptional disposition, tremendous heart and the willingness to do whatever was asked of him, Jimmy carried both Junior and Senior cowgirls to the winner’s circle.

His incredible career included 8 Working Horse of the Year titles and helping Brenda capture 10 of her 13 All Around Cowgirl titles.

The Working Horse of the Year Award honours the horses who show up, do the job and give their all alongside their cowgirl — the teammates behind the success who bring us all the glory.

Working Horse of the Year points are earned throughout the season based on the placings of their riders at CGRA rodeos.
