Over a year ago, a regular client of mine brought in a friend from work to get a small tattoo of 3 butterflies for a relative who passed away. Since then, I’ve been tattooing this person consistently and we’ve become rather good friends outside of the shop. Every tattoo she gets has some meaning involving family, even if it’s not directly apparent and this one is no different. On the one year anniversary of me tattooing her she asked me to “sign my work” by adding a tattoo representative of me as gratitude for the care and support I showed her inside and outside of the shop.

I can’t thank you enough for letting me do a tattoo so unique and personal for you, definitely one of my favourites so far. 🩵🙏 Thank you always for the trust and for being a friend!

Hey lovely people, since moving from full time to very casual, my social media hasn’t been as active as it used to be, which has brought a few recurring questions to my attention. I wanted to make this post to address these few questions just so everyone knows!

1.) What days of the week do I work? Currently I only work Saturday’s and Sunday! I try to book appointments two weeks apart to give myself a break, but Saturday’s and Sunday’s are my tattoo days.

2.) Am I going to run any promo’s soon? Short answer: No. Long answer: For those who are unaware, I am a day rate artist now, which means I don’t have a full time/ permanent chair at the shop anymore. Which means, I have to use a chair belonging to another artist who is willing to accommodate the time and space for me to tattoo. Not only that but a portion of what I make goes immediately back to the shop, which unfortunately has made running promo’s complicated and unaffordable. That being said, i’m always willing to work with your budget and my prices are remaining unchanged!

3.) when will you be back full time/when will you take more than 2 appointments a month. Full time? I don’t think i’ll be coming back to full time. I’m comfortable doing what I’m doing right now, but i appreciate all the love and support! As for appointments, i book two days a month, but depending on what my clients are asking for, i try to fill the day completely. which means i could have one person coming in or i could have three. regardless, i try to accommodate as many people as i can!

A small, but meaningful free hand tally mark tattoo. One year for each year of sobriety. You’ll notice that the lines are imperfect, some are slightly thicker than the others, their lengths are uneven and the spacing is off, why? Because each year of sobriety has not been perfect, life is sometimes shaky and all we can do is keep going no matter how tough it gets.
