It has come to our attention that there may be ongoing misconceptions regarding any association between Dark Dimension Tattoo and James Golden, also known as Mitchell Maunder or Rooster.
To clarify: Mr. Golden was briefly employed and involved as a partner prior to June 2025, to assist with a shop expansion. At the time, we were unaware of his prior industry reputation and he mislead us regarding his past conduct.
Upon becoming aware of reports concerning his past behavior in the industry, as well as incidents of inappropriate conduct toward female artists at our studio, we immediately terminated his employment and partnership, and prohibited him from any future involvement with Dark Dimension Tattoo.
We do not condone any form of inappropriate or predatory behavior. Dark Dimension Tattoo is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and professional environment for our artists, clients, and staff. We take such matters seriously and act decisively to address them by removing any individuals who do not uphold these standards.
Dark Dimension Tattoo has had no association with Mr. Golden since June 2025, and we regret any prior involvement due to the information that has since come to light.
