10 years & then some🌟

So lastnight we sat & ate yummy food & talked about real life stuff. The Rollercoaster called life.

The amazing & ever weaving - looping - learning - growing - loving - growing journey that it is.

& you inspire me beyond measure.

You were in my very first Yoga for Cancer Survivors class - and our lifelong friendship is something that I can’t sum up in words.

You have a very special imprint on my heart & lord knows I can’t look at a sunflower 🌻 without picturing your faces in my mind.

You are here on purpose & I love every hug, every meal & every bit of movement we can squeeze into our days yet to come !

Heyo!

Happy Friday! Also, thanks for being here.

I woke up early this morning with a grateful heart & wanted to share a few things that I’v been jotting down with paper & pen.

I have a collection of ideas, tips, tools, insights & inspiration for all things (health & living life uuuup).

I will be dishing some goodness out this summer. I hope you like it & please keep me posted if it brings ya joy! That’s what I’m here for.

The thing is though - I spend a lot of time on the computer at work - so when it comes to blogging… I’m an old school paper & pen kinda girl when I get home & back in the creative mindset.

So you might see a few paper & pen notes popping up on here - but they will be coming from a place of love. I will type some out to of course - but it may be a blend 😉

I’v got a fun event coming up Thursday June 23rd… so I will send deetz on that soon.

Time is priceless, soak it up!

Yesterday in the snowstorm Drea & our Fam Jaaaam’s celebrated her bday with spiceyyyyy coconut Margaritas!

It was the perfect reminder that each day counts, each new memory counts, each random adventure counts, each conversation counts… you get the idea here.

Moments like this remind me of the joy of showing up.

Cheers to soaking up this ride called life.

Haaaaaappy Birthday to my sweet homie Drea! .care ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

You know that moment when you meet someone - and you realize they are going to be your forever friend- that's Drea!

The story on how we met is a gooder & I will share that later.

She has forever changed the meaning of "Never give up" in my mind & she is straight up sunshine!

When you meet her, you will understand what I'm talk'n about.

I saw some daaaamn good seeds being sown yesterday!

But in short summary : He, his fam & our kick ass Calgary Community stepped up HUGE to help my Buds and her Fam Jaaaaam rally hard with grit & love - for their sweet boy Sawyer who's doing his best to crush cancer right now.

🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌

To sum it all up, I'm reminded of this:

- We are to look out for each other
- There is power in community
- Follow the nudges of your 💛
- Ash, seek, knock
- Never give up
- There is beauty in the trenches
- Sowing seeds can lead to things much much much BIGGER than ourselves

So for today, I'm asking this:

"How can we each sow good seeds in our own lives? With our family, friends, random strangers, truly anyone who is put upon our hearts? "💛💛💛💛💛💛💛

Meet Sawyer

The Little Steamboat that could & will.

I truly believe he will kick this thing called cancer to the curb.

Considering all the pokes, scans and pain he has gone through – his smile is one that is forever engrained in my heart. 💛

He is joy.
He is perseverance.
He is my daily reminder to get outside and see the sunrise and expand my mindset.

So to Sawyer, and my Buds Ash and Kaylen – I just wanted to put this out there to remind you that you are amazing!

I look forward in him doing a sweet
Sawyer style celly soon once he finishes his current round of treatment. Less than 8 weeks to go Buddy!

"Inspiration" - that’s the magic word that keeps us going.

It keeps our heads up and hearts wide open.
