With summer coming to an end (where DID the time go!?), a gentle reminder that its almost time for the Rummage sale!!! Please reach out if you have any questions or are interested in volunteering 💙

Our annual HAC Rummage Sale will be here before you know it!

• October 19 - Drop Off Day
• October 20 & 21 - Sale Days

We're looking for a few items to help make this year's sale a success:
• Reusable brown or cloth grocery bags
• Clothing racks (to borrow and/or purchase)
• Shoe racks (to borrow and/or purchase)

🌿 The Courtyard is Complete! 🌿

The Health Action Committee is proud to share that the Carberry Health Centre courtyard revitalization is now complete and ready to be enjoyed by patients, residents, families, staff, and visitors!

Following the completion of the Carberry Health Centre tub and shower room renovation project, the HAC carefully considered how the remaining community-donated funds could continue to make a meaningful impact on local healthcare. We are pleased to have contributed the remaining $20,835 toward the Courtyard Project, helping create a beautiful outdoor space where people can relax, socialize, garden, and enjoy the outdoors.

This project is a wonderful example of what can be achieved when a community comes together!

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Health Centre staff, everyone who made independent donations, volunteers, our dedicated Health Action Committee, and all community partners whose generosity, support, and hard work helped bring this courtyard to life.

🚨 IMPORTANT COMMUNITY NOTICE – 911 SERVICE DISRUPTION 🚨

A province-wide 911 service disruption is currently affecting Manitoba outside of Winnipeg due to a Bell MTS issue.

☎️ If you have an emergency:
• Continue to call 911 first.
• If your call does not go through, call the Manitoba Transportation Coordination Centre (MTCC) at 204-625-2111 for medical emergencies.

🚑 Happy Belated Paramedic Day!

Yesterday was Paramedic day! And while this post may be a day late, we still recognize and thank the paramedics who serve our community with skill, compassion, and dedication. Whether it is our home crew or another community that is posted here for coverage, we are grateful to all the hard work to help make sure communities have access to care.

Whether responding to an emergency, providing care, or supporting patients and families during difficult moments, paramedics play an important role in keeping our community safe and cared for.
