Thinking about a cover-up tattoo but not sure where to start? Here are some of the most common questions I get👇

✨ “Can you cover black ink?”
Often yes, but not always with lighter colours. Animals, florals, realism, saturated and high contrast concepts tend to work best over darker tattoos.

✨ “Can I choose anything I want?”
We’ll always do our best to work with your ideas, but successful cover-ups are a collaboration. Sometimes certain designs simply won’t hide the old tattoo effectively.

✨ “Will people still see the old tattoo?”
A good cover-up shouldn’t immediately read as a cover-up. In some cases, faint traces may exist underneath depending on the original tattoo and healing.

✨ “Do cover-ups cost more?”
Cover-ups are typically more time-consuming and technically challenging than a fresh tattoo, so pricing can reflect that.

Freehand chest piece ✔️

My client sat like a rock, we watched some alien conspiracy documentaries and overall a great session. 👽
Super happy with the outcome of this tattoo, and the overall fit of how this blends with my client’s existing sleeve. I love the art of free-handing art to make things flow with the natural shape of a person’s body.

Not my usual style - however, when an old friend reaches out to you to help her fall in love with her tattoo again, you don’t say no!

I will freehand just about any style of floral tattoo, I truly feel this helps the tattoo feel more organic, especially when adding onto pre-existing work (the cactus here was done by another artist).

✅ My books are officially OPEN!

• I haven’t had a chance to publicly accept new clients since opening the shop, but the chance is finally here.

• Since the daunting task of receiving and responding to many requests at once tends to take me a few weeks to get back to everyone, I will be doing things differently now…

• I am hoping to leave my books permanently open, as to not miss out on awesome projects some of you may have for me 🤗
