🐾 CHARITY FLASH DAY - ROUND 2 🐾

Join us Saturday, June 13th from 10am-5pm at Ash&Arbour Tattoo Co. for our second charity tattoo fundraiser in support of Ottawa Dog Rescue, in partnership with Pet Valu 🐶

We’ll be offering pre-drawn flash tattoos all day, with 100% of shop profits donated directly to Ottawa Dog Rescue to help support dogs in need.

To help maximize our donation goals this year, we’ll also be bringing in extra artists for the event so we can tattoo even more people throughout the day. 🖤

Thinking about a cover-up tattoo but not sure where to start? Here are some of the most common questions I get👇

✨ “Can you cover black ink?”
Often yes, but not always with lighter colours. Animals, florals, realism, saturated and high contrast concepts tend to work best over darker tattoos.

✨ “Can I choose anything I want?”
We’ll always do our best to work with your ideas, but successful cover-ups are a collaboration. Sometimes certain designs simply won’t hide the old tattoo effectively.

✨ “Will people still see the old tattoo?”
A good cover-up shouldn’t immediately read as a cover-up. In some cases, faint traces may exist underneath depending on the original tattoo and healing.

✨ “Do cover-ups cost more?”
Cover-ups are typically more time-consuming and technically challenging than a fresh tattoo, so pricing can reflect that.

A little Leg-Filler action on this leg sleeve ✨

Our shop owner was able to fill in the gaps to finish this project ⛑️

The healed tattoos visible (sword and butterfly) were not done by artists affiliated with our shop, but nonetheless we are always happy to help our clients with finishing and falling in love with their work-in-progress tattoos.
