Pat & The Elephant Pat and the Elephant was founded in 1975 by Pat Rogers. We provide accessible transportation on PEI.

We are an Accessible Transport Service operating 7 days a week with 4 Ford Transits, 3 Ram Promasters and 2 Toyota Sienna's, that are capable of taking wheel-chairs and stretchers.

**News Release**

Pat And The Elephant is proud to be part of a new accessible taxi pilot project coming to the capital region this June.

Through a joint investment from the Government of Prince Edward Island, the City of Charlottetown, the Town of Stratford, and the Town of Cornwall, a new seven-passenger, wheelchair-accessible van will soon be in service. The vehicle can accommodate two wheelchairs and will operate seven days a week, with extended hours on weekends.

This pilot project is an important step toward improving accessible transportation options for Islanders and visitors, helping more people take part in work, appointments, community events, recreation, and everyday life.

Notice of Fuel Surcharge
Due to the recent rise in global oil prices, Pat and the Elephant will be implementing a $1.50 fuel surcharge to help offset increased fuel costs.
Beginning Monday, March 30, the transportation fee will be:
• $16.50 one way
• $33.00 return
We appreciate your understanding as we work to maintain reliable service during this period of higher operating costs.
