🌹✨ Preparing for Heard & Held ✨🌹

As I prepared tonight's cacao, I found myself following intuition more than a recipe.

We'll be sharing Ora Cacao's Ta***ic Rose blend. It is ceremonial cacao sourced from Tanzania and blended with rose and orange peel, chosen for its heart-opening qualities and its invitation to slow down, connect, and be present.

As I was preparing it, I felt drawn to something I've never added before. A small handful of dried white rose petals I've kept for years. I honestly can't remember exactly why I saved them. I only remember feeling that they mattered.

Today, it felt right.

White roses are often associated with remembrance, hope, and new beginnings, and the more I reflected on it, the more I realized those themes sit at the heart of what Heard & Held is all about.

Many of us carry stories, experiences, questions, grief, joy, uncertainty, dreams, and pieces of ourselves that don't always get space to be witnessed.

Tonight is an opportunity to remember where we've been. To hold hope for what is possible. And to create space for whatever new beginning may be quietly waiting beneath the surface.

Alongside the roses, I added a small touch of chili. It is a traditional ingredient often found in ceremonial cacao. While it adds warmth to the blend, it also carries symbolism of courage, vitality, transformation, and movement.

A reminder that healing isn't always about having the answers. Sometimes it's simply about having the courage to show up.

To be seen.
To listen.
To share.

Or to sit quietly and allow yourself to be held by community.

So tonight's blend carries a little bit of all of it.

🌹 Remembrance.

🌹 Hope.

🌹 New beginnings.

🔥 Courage.

Which feels like the perfect way to begin a gathering called Heard & Held.

Tonight we gather at Arkanic Healing Studio alongside beautiful collaborators from Winter Tree Wellness, Independence Counselling, and The Holistic Hub.

No fixing.
No pressure.
No expectations.

Just people coming together to create space for honest expression, reflection, connection, and community.

Breathe into Sound at Kinfolk Haven Wellness Centre was another magical collaboration.

We combine transformational breathwork from Crystal Clear Connections, with Reiki energy from Winter Tree Wellness and a sound bath from Inner Echo Sound Healing.

The event blends each modality, each layer of healing into one powerful experience.

The participants left feeling transformed and aligned. It was an incredible opportunity for all.

One thing I reflected on after today’s Roadshow was that I’m really no different than anybody else sitting in that circle. I'm practicing many things... facilitating, organizing, leading, inspiring.

I’m learning. I’m growing. I'm expanding like everyone else. Every time I hear myself speak, I notice myself understanding the message more deeply too and I think that’s actually part of the point.

At the Roadshow, nobody is expected to show up as perfectly polished or 'having arrived.' Even those sharing their work are really just giving 5-10 minutes of themselves, their energy, their story, their perspective, and what they care about.

Sometimes people speak directly about their work, and sometimes they speak more about the heart behind it all. What mattered most to me today was watching people feel safe enough to simply show up as humans.

That’s why we sit in a circle. That’s why there are no name badges separating people. That’s why attendees, members, practitioners, and facilitators all share the same space together.

When we break out into exploring the work more we see yes, some people may have tables. Yes, some people may speak. But everybody there has something to give and also to receive, everyone.

It's magical how it unfolds. Truly something you need to experience to understand. And that's why no matter if you come to the Roadshow as an a Community Explorer or a Featured Practitioner you all feel like one.

Something beautiful is beginning to unfold for Winter 2027 🌿☀️

Crystal Clear Connections and Happy Feet Reflexology Wellness Center are currently in the early planning stages of an immersive Dominican Republic retreat experience and we’re officially beginning to gather interest as we finalize details, secure dates, and build the experience intentionally.

This retreat is being created alongside local wellness support in the Dominican Republic to create an experience that blends meaningful cultural connection, restoration, wellness, and exploration.

The vision is to stay in a private retreat space surrounded by nature, while weaving together experiences that support both restoration and discovery.

Current experiences being explored include:

• harvesting cacao directly from the land and learning about the process firsthand
• visiting a chocolate factory and exploring the roots of cacao more deeply
• beach excursions and ocean connection time
• guided tour and cultural exploration in the city centre
• authentic dance + movement experiences
• authentic relating and meaningful connection activities
• cacao ceremonies and integration spaces
• workshops and conversations around fasting and holistic wellness
• access to supportive wellness services such as reiki, reflexology, holistic healing therapies, cupping, and Indian head massage
• space to slow down, reflect, reconnect, and simply be

This is not being created as a rushed “tourist trip.”
The intention is to create a meaningful, immersive experience that allows people to truly settle into themselves, the environment, the culture, and the connections being built throughout the week.

We are still working through pricing, accommodations, travel logistics, dates, and exact inclusions - but we wanted to begin opening the conversation now to see who may feel called toward something like this 🌺

Those who join the early interest list will:
• receive first access to details as they are released
• receive early sign-up pricing/discount opportunities
• have more time to financially plan and prepare if interested in attending
• potentially help shape parts of the experience through feedback and interest
