FirReal Nature Connections

FirReal Nature Connections Nature-connected life coach and shamanic practitioner helping women heal old patterns, reconnect with themselves, and find their way forward.

Chilliwack BC and online. I invite you to join me in nature as we walk with intention, purpose and mindfulness. Bring your troubles and your worries, but also your wishes and powerful requests of healing in nature. Experience a connection with nature and it’s healing abilities as you take the time to stop and listen to your infinite self, and as you listen to nature you realize you are one. Enjoy

exploring nature uninhibited and from a new perspective, and yes, there will most definitely be some tree hugging involved. I have a Forestry and Wildlife Conservation course certificate, a Horticulture Crop Production and Protection Certificate, am a Horticulture Production Journey Person, and have completed an Intro to Nature Connected Coaching course. I am currently enrolled in a Transformational Coaching course, a Wildcrafting Basics, and Wild Forest Bathing (Yasei Shinrin-yoku )Teacher Training. My love for trees and nature has no end.

This routine didn't start as a plan. It started on a dog walk, years ago, when the lake was still quiet, before the boats and the people were up.

Something about the water that early made me want to go in, and the lake invited me in. So I did.

That one swim is the reason I now spend my camping mornings the same way every time: swim, journal, pull a few cards, yoga, bed early the night before. It took years to become a routine. It started as a moment I could have easily walked past.

Last week of summer holidays around here.

After this, it's back to lunches, schedules, and the routine snapping back into place. I try not to spend this last stretch bracing for that. I'd rather use it.

If you've got kids, what does your last week of summer holidays look like?

Last weekend of August.

The light is already changing β€” not dramatically, but if you've been paying attention you can feel it. The wheel is turning toward the inward season. Summer's full-tilt energy is starting to ease.

Something quieter is coming.

Before September arrives β€” what did August ask of you? What did you give? What are you carrying into the next month, and what are you ready to set down?

September has a lot coming for me. More on that very soon. 🌿

Intuitive healing sounds vague until you've experienced it.

Here's what it actually means in practice: working with what's present, not just what someone consciously brings to a session, but what's underneath. The thing they haven't found words for yet. The pattern that shows up in the body before it shows up in thought. The knowing that's been quietly there underneath the noise.

As a practitioner it means I follow what's actually happening rather than a predetermined structure. I trust what comes up and work with it directly.

For the right person, someone who senses things they can't always explain, who has found purely analytical approaches don't quite reach all of it, this can feel like finally being met where you actually are.

If that resonates, I'd love to hear from you. 🌿

When people hear "nature connected coaching" they sometimes picture a nice walk where we talk about feelings.

Yes, and it's more than that.

Nature connected coaching uses the natural environment deliberately β€” as an active participant in the work, not just a backdrop.

Because nature does things a coaching room can't. It regulates your nervous system almost immediately. It reflects things back without agenda β€” a fallen tree, a path that forks, something that's been burned and grown back anyway. It puts you back in your body because you can't stay in your head when your feet are on actual ground.

I offer this in person in Chilliwack and as practices for online clients to take into their own outdoor spaces.

Curious what a session might look like? Send me a message. 🌿

Back from another week off-grid.

I come back from that place the same person I left as β€” and also not. A little quieter inside. A little less convinced that the things I was worried about are as large as they seemed.

Nature has a way of returning you to your actual size β€” not smaller than you are, just not inflated by anxiety and the noise of everything that felt urgent before you left.

If you messaged while I was away I'll be responding this week. And if you've been thinking about reaching out but haven't yet β€” now's a good time. 🌿

Water is a good teacher if you sit with it long enough.

It doesn't hold its shape β€” it takes the shape of whatever holds it, and it's still completely itself. It finds the lowest point not out of weakness but because that's where it flows naturally. It wears down stone not through force but through persistence and time.

I come back to water when I've been in my head too long. It reminds me that most of what I'm resisting would resolve itself if I stopped fighting it and just let it find its level.

That's not passivity. That's trust.

Right now I'm sitting by water learning the same lesson I keep needing to learn. 🌿

We have a strange relationship with rest.

We treat it like a reward β€” something you earn after enough productivity. Or like laziness β€” something to feel guilty about if there are still things on the list.

But rest in the natural world is neither. It's a phase of the cycle. As necessary as the growing season. As active as anything else β€” just at a cellular level rather than a visible one.

Real rest isn't doing nothing. It's returning to something. Your body. Your actual pace. The version of yourself that exists underneath the constant demand to perform.

Right now I'm somewhere without wifi doing exactly that.

I hope you find a version of it this week too. 🌿

Taking myself off-grid again for a bit.

No wifi, no notifications. Just water, trees, and whatever the forest decides to teach me this time.

Posts are scheduled while I'm away. If you've been thinking about reaching out about working together β€” I'll be back and responding soon. The message will be waiting. 🌿

Hiked up to this view recently and just stood there for a while.

There's something about seeing where you live from above that changes your relationship with it. The valley you drive through every day looks completely different from up here.

I've lived here long enough to have history with this land. Places I keep returning to. Trails I know by feel. Trees I've said goodbye to.

Belonging to a place is one of the quieter forms of healing that doesn't get talked about enough. Knowing your land. Having spots that know you back.

That's part of what nature connection is actually about β€” not just being outside, but being in relationship with the specific piece of earth you call home. 🌿
