FirReal Nature Connections

FirReal Nature Connections Nature-connected life coach and shamanic practitioner helping women heal old patterns, reconnect with themselves, and find their way forward.

Chilliwack BC and online. I invite you to join me in nature as we walk with intention, purpose and mindfulness. Bring your troubles and your worries, but also your wishes and powerful requests of healing in nature. Experience a connection with nature and it’s healing abilities as you take the time to stop and listen to your infinite self, and as you listen to nature you realize you are one. Enjoy

exploring nature uninhibited and from a new perspective, and yes, there will most definitely be some tree hugging involved. I have a Forestry and Wildlife Conservation course certificate, a Horticulture Crop Production and Protection Certificate, am a Horticulture Production Journey Person, and have completed an Intro to Nature Connected Coaching course. I am currently enrolled in a Transformational Coaching course, a Wildcrafting Basics, and Wild Forest Bathing (Yasei Shinrin-yoku )Teacher Training. My love for trees and nature has no end.

Burnout isn't laziness. It's not weakness. It's what happens when you spend from an account you stopped refilling a long time ago.
Every time you pushed through tired. Every time you said yes when you meant no. Every time you put yourself last and called it responsibility.
It all went somewhere.
Burnout is just the bill arriving.
Recovery isn't a weekend of rest. It's a genuine renegotiation of how you're spending yourself — and what you actually want to protect.

A lake can look completely still and be full of movement underneath. Current, temperature layers, life — none of it visible from the surface.
People work the same way.
The ones who look the most composed are often carrying the most. The ones who seem fine are sometimes the ones who most need someone to ask twice.
If you've been keeping a calm surface while something moves underneath — that's worth checking in with. Not to perform the calm better. To actually see what's below it. 🌿

Fixing says: this needs to change.
Accepting says: this is what's true right now.
Most people treat these as opposites. They're not.
Real change almost always starts with acceptance — not because you're giving up, but because you can't work clearly with something you're still in a fight with. You can fully accept something and still want it to be different. Those two things can exist at the same time.
The question worth sitting with: which one do you find harder — accepting or fixing?

Last day of May.
Worth a quiet moment to notice what this month actually held — what shifted, what surprised you, what you want to carry into June and what you'd rather leave here.
These small check-ins aren't about productivity. They're just a way of staying in relationship with your own life as it's actually happening.
June is coming in warm. 🌿
What was May like for you?

A lot of the women I work with have spent years managing their bodies rather than actually living in them.
Pushing through tiredness. Overriding what they're feeling. Ignoring the tension that shows up in the same spot every time stress arrives.
The body keeps an honest record of everything the mind tries to move past.
Coming home to your body isn't a wellness trend — it's one of the more foundational things you can do in healing work. Everything else builds on it. You can't really hear yourself if you've lost the connection to where you actually live.

Late May has a particular quality to it.
The tentative part of spring is gone. Everything is fully committed now — green, unhesitating, completely in it. The wheel is turning toward summer and the natural world isn't being subtle about it.
There's an invitation in that if you're paying attention.
What in your own life is ready to stop being tentative? 🌿

Guilt and shame feel similar but work very differently — and the distinction matters a lot in healing work.

Guilt says: I did something wrong. It's uncomfortable, but it points at behaviour. Something that can be changed, repaired, addressed.

Shame says: I am wrong. Not what you did — who you are.
Guilt can motivate genuine change. Shame mostly just keeps people stuck and too exhausted to move toward anything.
If the voice in your head has been saying you are rather than you did — that's worth noticing.
Does this distinction land for you?

People often aren't sure what to expect when they reach out for the first time — so here's what a session actually looks like.
We start where you are, not where you think you should be.
I ask questions that help you slow down and actually hear yourself. Depending on what's coming up, we might work with Partswork — getting curious about the parts of you running things in the background. We might do shamanic work at a soul level. We might spend time in nature and let that do what it does.
Sessions are available online or in person in Chilliwack.
If you've been quietly curious, feel free to reach out or visit the link in my bio. 🌿

People can get quite far on their own in this work. Journaling, reflecting, reading — real insight comes from solo practice and I'd never discount that.
But there's a layer of healing that only happens in the presence of another person.
Being seen clearly and not judged. Saying the thing out loud that you've only ever thought. Being witnessed in a way your own journal can't replicate.
We're relational beings. The wounds usually happened in relationship — and a lot of the healing does too.
