Maybe midlife isn’t about becoming a better version of who you used to be.
Maybe it’s about finally becoming more honest about who you are now.

The things you once chased might not feel as important anymore.
The people you once needed to impress might not matter as much.
And the version of success you thought you wanted might not fit the life you actually want to live.

That can feel uncomfortable.

Because letting go doesn’t always feel like freedom at first. Sometimes it feels like questioning everything.

But there’s something really powerful about giving yourself permission to want different things now.

A slower life.
A stronger body.
Deeper relationships.
More adventure.
More peace.
More you.

You don’t have to keep wanting the things you wanted at 25 just because you wanted them then.

You’re allowed to outgrow your own definition of a good life. 🤍

So if you’re in this season too, take a little time today to think about what you’re ready to leave behind—and what you want to make more room for.

Save this for the days you need the reminder, and send it to a woman who might need to hear it too.

If you’re in a fat loss phase, these are 10 foods I’d limit first to make staying in a deficit easier.

Not because they’re bad.
Not because they’re off-limits.

Because they’re easy to overeat, often under-tracked, and can quietly push you out of the deficit you’re working so hard to create.

This is not about perfect eating.

It’s about making your fat loss phase easier to repeat.

Flavoured yogurt — swap for plain Greek yogurt with berries.

Granola bars — choose a higher-protein snack instead.

Fruit juice — eat the whole fruit instead.

Alcohol — limit it if it affects your sleep, cravings, or next-day choices.

Healthy fats — avocado, nuts, nut butter, and olive oil are great, but portions add up fast.

Sugar-free diet foods — can keep cravings high for some women. Try monk fruit if you need a sweetener.

Store-bought smoothies — make your own with protein, greens, and berries.

Dried fruit — choose fresh fruit most of the time.

Whole wheat bread — not bad, but choose higher-fibre options and pair it with protein to stay full.

Flavoured coffee creamers — measure it or swap for a simpler option.

You don’t need to cut these forever.

But limiting the foods that are easy to overdo can help you stay consistent and keep your deficit from disappearing by the end of the day.

Comment BLUEPRINT and I’ll send you the simple guide I use to help women lose their first 10 lbs in midlife.

Save this and share it with a friend who needs to hear it.

You don’t need more rules.

You need a clear next step.

Because midlife can make the old approach stop working.

The workouts that used to change your body don’t hit the same.
The calorie cuts that used to “work” now leave you tired, hungry, and frustrated.
The scale feels unpredictable.
Your energy is inconsistent.
Your sleep is off.
Your cravings are louder.
And your body feels different.

This is where I coach best.

I don’t believe most women need another random plan, stricter rules, or more information.

They need someone to look at what’s actually happening — their body, habits, food, training, schedule, stress, and life — and help them build the next right step.

That’s what I do inside KFIT Coaching and THRIVE.

I help women in midlife stop guessing and create structure that supports the season they’re in.

That might mean:

Protein and meal structure so you stop running on fumes and overeating at night
Macro adjustments so you’re not under-eating, over-restricting, or stuck in the all-or-nothing cycle
Purposeful strength training so you can build muscle, support metabolism, and feel strong again
Realistic movement goals so progress doesn’t depend on punishing workouts
Sleep, stress, and recovery support because your body can’t thrive when it’s depleted
Accountability so you’re not left guessing what to do next
I keep coaching close because that’s where the real work happens.

I want to know the woman in front of me.
I want to understand what’s getting in her way.
I want to help her build confidence again.
I want to lead her toward the version of herself she keeps saying she wants to become.

This isn’t about more rules.

It’s about having a coach in your corner helping you take the next clear step.

If you’re a woman in midlife who feels stuck, frustrated, tired of guessing, and ready to feel supported, DM me READY.

I’ll walk you through the next step.
