connect Our goal is to ensure that all children get a healthy start in life!

The Family Resource Network (FRN) has a mandate to promote family wellness and positive parent-child relationships, improve parenting knowledge and skills and foster optimal child development. The FRN provides a variety of programs and services for families and children including: child development programs, parent education, family support, developmental screening and information and referral. We offer programs for dads and kids because strong father–child relationships build confident children, healthier families, and stronger communities. These programs create space for connection, growth, and shared experiences that matter. Fatherhood can feel isolating too. These programs give dads community, encouragement, and shared learning with other fathers.

Join us for our next dad's program on Saturday, February 21st at 9:30 a.m. where we will be celebrating Chinese New Year!

🎄✨ Sunday Smiles at Walmart! ✨🎄

Last Sunday morning, FRN/FCSS staff were lucky enough to lend a hand at the Kiwanis Toy Project, and what an unforgettable day it was!

🎅 Santa and Mrs. Claus were there for photos and to hear Christmas wishes
💚 The Grinch showed up spreading his own special kind of holiday cheer
🏒 Cochrane Generals players teamed up with the kids to make their shopping extra fun
🎉 And the kids? They had an absolute blast picking out their very own special toy!

A huge THANK YOU to the Kiwanis Club of Cochrane and Area for sponsoring this heartwarming event and helping create so many happy holiday memories. Nothing beats the joy of giving—and the smiles said it all! 😊
