Here sat a girl who thought she was practicing meditation, doing what she had learned in her first Yoga Teacher Training.

At that time it was about practicing a skill, something to “improve” myself. I know now that it was something so much deeper than that.

By then, life had been shifting and teaching me for years, but that was the moment that things really started to become clearer.

Where I began understanding myself beyond expectations, roles and who I thought I was “supposed” to be.

I wasn’t becoming someone new, but rather deepening my relationship with what was already true.

Looking back, this was less about learning a practice and more about learning myself.

So many of us have learned how to survive…
but have never truly learned how to feel safe.

Safe to rest.
Safe to soften.
Safe to breathe deeply.
Safe to stop carrying everything alone.

Healing is not something we force through pressure, perfection, or exhaustion.

It’s a state of conscious rest where your body sleeps, but your awareness remains.

In this space, your brain shifts into slower wave states (alpha + theta), which are associated with deep healing, memory integration, and nervous system repair.

There are moments in nature when everything feels clear.

The sun breaks through the clouds and suddenly the whole landscape begins to glow. Light touches the snow, the trees, the mountains and they receive and reflect it without hesitation.

Nature doesn’t question whether it’s worthy of the light. It simply allows itself to be illuminated and shares.

Standing here, I was reminded how often we forget this.
We search for permission, for validation that we are deserving of peace, love or belonging.

But the earth doesn’t question whether it is worthy of its warmth, it simply receives it.

Maybe we were never meant to earn the light.
Maybe we were always meant to remember that we are already part of it.

In moments like these, it feels easy to remember:
the light we see in the world is the same divine light that lives within us ✨☀️✨

In a world that glorifies the hustle, stillness becomes a courageous act.

Sometimes the strongest thing we can do is pause.

To sit quietly,
Take a breath,
Not react right away.

Strength doesn’t always look like action,
Sometimes it looks like presence.

Stillness isn’t about falling behind.
It’s listening,
Regulating,
It’s choosing a next step from alignment,
Not hurry.

Stillness isn’t the absence of power,
It’s power rooted in self-trust.

May what was written and burned be carried gently into transformation, old weight softened, old stories loosened.

May the fire take what no longer serves,

Sincere gratitude for each of you for choosing to slow down, arrive fully and meeting yourselves with such presence and compassion.

Your willingness to rest, reflect, share, and listen is what shaped the integrity of the space. It was deeply felt.
