What exactly is a Therapeutic Relaxation Massage?

I’ve realized this is probably the best place to start when describing the different kinds of massage treatments I offer, because it’s truly the foundation of almost everything I do.

A Therapeutic Relaxation Massage is a blend of relaxation and therapeutic work. It’s more than just light relaxation massage, but it’s also not solely focused on deep targeted techniques either.

The goal is to help the body relax enough to move into the parasympathetic nervous system this state is where the body rests, restores, recovers, and functions most optimally.

I begin with lighter pressure and gradually adjust as the muscles soften and release, always adapting to what your body is needing that day.

Many people leave feeling:
• calmer
• less tense
• more grounded
• mentally quieter
• more connected to themselves

Essential oils can also be added to support relaxation and tension release.

One thing I believe deeply is that when people feel better in their bodies, they often move through life differently. With less stress and tension, there is often more ease, more clarity, and more kindness toward themselves and others.

Every session is also done with intention - supporting not only the physical body, but creating space for the nervous system and mind to truly rest for a little while too.

This style of massage is the foundation of many of the other treatments I offer, and I’ll be sharing more about those soon.

It’s hard to put into words the loss of someone so genuinely kind. While we didn’t share a business, we did share a workspace, and his presence was always appreciated. Danny’s kindness, warmth, and presence will be deeply missed.

It is with profound grief and sadness that I share the news of the sudden passing of my husband, father to our two daughters, and our Revyve RMT, Danny Hunter on Thursday in a motor vehicle accident.

If you were lucky enough to know Danny, you understand the amazing human he was. He lit up every room he walked into and made genuine connections with people. He made friends fast and friends for life.

He cared deeply about others and his clients and always tried his best to help them. He often went above and beyond with studying different techniques and treatments to help their specific condition. He threw himself passionately into every pursuit he took on.

An email has gone out to all of his clients with this news and cancellation of future sessions.

As for Live Blood Analysis, I will be taking a few weeks off to be with my family. I will be back seeing clients in the near future when I am ready. I have so much gratitude to my clients for allowing me to do what I love and am truly passionate about. Danny and I built our Wellness Centre out of this shared passion for health, wellness and helping people feel their best and Revyve will continue with this passion.

We are truly overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support we have already received from the community. I will not be able to respond to everyone, but know that I appreciate it all and feel the love deeply. In Danny's memory, be kind and hold your loved ones close.
