12 years ago, almost to the day, I opened my skincare and facial studio here in Collingwood. There have been so many different versions of this business over the years.

And now, SEED is closing.

We’ll be closed for the month of October while we repaint, refresh the space and the building. Then in November, we’ll reopen as something new: Skin Frequency Studio.

The new studio will have a different concept and a different way of working with skin, with more time for consultation, skin analysis, treatment planning, therapeutic facial treatments, and microneedling.

I just shared a new podcast episode sharing all about that journey, where I started, how the business has changed over the years, why I stepped away from the treatment room, and the intention behind the kind of space and practice I’m creating now.

I have some exciting changes to share with you.
At the end of September, SEED. as you know it will be closing. It feels like the right time for the business to evolve into something new.

I’ll be taking the month of October to make that transition, and then reopening in November with a new name, a refreshed look, new concept and a more intentional and personalized approach to skincare, all in our same heritage building on Hume Street.

And after a three-year sabbatical, I’ll be returning to the treatment room.
I’ve really missed the one-on-one, treatment and consultation-focused part of my work.

I’ll be sharing more about the new vision as we get closer to November. In the meantime, SEED. will remain open throughout September for treatments with Brittany and product purchases for pick up.

Product ordering will continue uninterrupted throughout the transition and will also remain part of the new concept.

Throughout September, all Living Libations products will also be 25% off until Sept 30th.

After almost 12 years, I’ve decided to put SEED up for sale.

Before anything else, I want you to know nothing is changing right now. We’re still here, still offering facials. Everything will continue exactly as it has been while I take the time to find the right new owner.

Over the past few years, I’ve stepped back from the day-to-day to focus on my other business.

As this year comes to a close, I just want to say thank you for the support you’ve shown us over the past year.⁠ ⁠

Some of you have been here since the very beginning, eleven years ago when I first started offering holistic facial treatments in Collingwood. ⁠ ⁠

For over a decade this work has been living, breathing, evolving always intuitively led.⁠ ⁠

I wanted to share that I’ve been working on something new that I’ll be offering in the new year. In many ways it feels like it’s been quietly brewing for the past eleven years.⁠ ⁠
