I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving 🧡

This would make massage therapy much more accessible to people! As well as cheaper for the client.

Physiotherapy, chiropractic, and psychotherapy are all exempt from GST/HST. Massage therapy — the same regulated health care, often in the same clinic — is still taxed.

A New Chapter 🤍✨

I wanted to share an important update with all of my wonderful clients.

After much thought and consideration, I’ve made the decision to step away from operating my own clinic and join a new practice.

This is an exciting change for me, and while it’s bittersweet to leave the space I’ve created, I’m looking forward to continuing to provide the same quality and individualized care that you’ve come to know and trust.

To all of my clients who have supported me throughout my journey — thank you. Your trust, loyalty, and continued support have meant so much to me, and I’m incredibly grateful for every person who has walked through my door.

I’ll be sharing more details soon about my new location, booking information, and when appointments will be available.

For now, any one looking to get an appointment before the transition, I have limited space available until the end of the month, so please reach out if you would like to book 🤗

Trapezius and Subscapularis are the most common problem areas of all my clients! This often indicates a muscle imbalance with posture and occupation playing a huge role.
Wall Press-away and Y-raises are both great, no equipment exercises you can do at home to help alleviate some of the symptoms 🤗

Just 5 minutes of cupping, is equivalent to 30 minutes of massage! It feels great too 🤗

Cupping in Chinese medicine is often misunderstood those marks aren’t bruises, but a visible reflection of how your body is responding beneath the surface.

Cupping works by drawing blood flow to specific areas, helping to release tension, move stagnation, and support the body’s natural healing process. The marks it leaves can vary in color, and each shade gives insight into what’s going on in the tissue:

• Light pink → healthy circulation, everything flowing well
• Light red → mild stagnation, often from everyday stress or posture
• Red to dark pink → moderate stagnation and muscle tension
• Deep red or purple → deeper stagnation, often linked to chronic tightness or inflammation
• Dark purple/black → significant stagnation and limited circulation over time
• Yellow/fading → the healing phase, as the body clears and recovers

These marks typically fade within a few days and are part of the therapeutic process not damage to the skin.

Think of cupping as your body’s way of showing you where it needs attention, support, and restoration ✨
