One of the questions I ask during an orthotics assessment is:

"When was your last pedicure?"

People usually laugh, but there's actually a reason.

The condition of your skin and calluses can tell a story about how you walk, where you're putting pressure through your feet, and what areas may be working harder than they should.

Foot structure is important, but so is watching how someone walks, assessing movement, and understanding what's causing the problem in the first place.

Custom orthotics aren't just about what your feet look like — they're about how your body moves.

So if you've had orthotics made before, here's a question:

To our valued clients,

We would like to inform you that our massage therapy clinic (5th St. location) will be closing at the end of July.

This decision was not made lightly, and we are incredibly grateful for the support and trust our clients have shown us over the years. We would also like to sincerely thank our massage therapists for their hard work, professionalism, and dedication to providing exceptional care to our community.

As our therapists transition to new opportunities, we will keep clients updated regarding their future locations of employment whenever possible so continuity of care can be maintained.

Please note that all massage therapy gift cards can still be used at our main clinic location. If you are unable to use your gift card, refunds will also be available through the main clinic.

We’re excited to welcome Angèle Thompson, RSSW – Registered Social Service Worker, to the team at Health Within.

With over 20 years of experience, Angèle provides compassionate, client-centred support to children, adults, and families. Her areas of focus include anxiety, stress management, behavioural challenges, and parenting support.

Bilingual in English and French, Angèle is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive space where individuals and families feel heard, understood, and empowered.

Angèle will be seeing clients at our 5th Street location, with evening and weekend appointments available.

She is also offering a free 15-minute phone consultation to help determine if her services are the right fit. To arrange a free phone consultation, please email [email protected]

Insurance & Payment:
Direct billing is currently being set up. At this time, payment is required at the time of the appointment, and clients can submit receipts to their insurance provider for reimbursement. Coverage for services may vary, so we encourage you to check with your provider regarding eligibility.
