One more opportunity to join us tomorrow. đź’›

If you couldn’t make Thursday’s Monthly Integration Call, we’re gathering again tomorrow.

We’ll be exploring the tired but wired feeling — when your body feels exhausted, but your system doesn’t quite seem ready to settle.

Sometimes the instinct is to try harder.

To make ourselves relax.

To make the thoughts stop.

To make sleep happen.

But what if we approached the experience differently?

Tomorrow, we’ll explore what may be happening through a nervous system lens and some gentler ways of responding to ourselves when bedtime feels anything but restful.

✨ Saturday, September 5
✨ Approximately 90 minutes
✨ Free to attend
✨ Replay included

I’d love to have you join us.

Waking during the night can feel much more frightening when we believe we should be sleeping continuously.

But sleep naturally moves through cycles, and brief awakenings can happen along the way.

Understanding this doesn’t mean you have to suddenly feel okay about being awake. It simply gives your nervous system another piece of information:

Waking doesn’t automatically mean something is wrong. 🌙

1 day to go. đź’›

Have you ever been exhausted all day… only to get into bed and suddenly feel wide awake?

Your body is tired.

You want to sleep.

But your brain seems to have other plans.

Tomorrow, we’re going to explore this “tired but wired” experience together during a free Monthly Integration Call.

Rather than looking at it as something your body is doing wrong, we’ll get curious about what may be happening within the nervous system — and how we can respond with less pressure and more support.

✨ Thursday, September 3
✨ Free to attend
✨ Replay included

There’s also a second call on Saturday, September 5, and you’re welcome to join either one or both.

When sleep feels difficult, it can be natural to try harder—to monitor it, control it, or worry about whether it will happen.

But sleep isn’t something we can command.

Sometimes a gentler place to begin is noticing the pressure we’re carrying around sleep and allowing a little less effort into the experience.

Your body already knows how to sleep. 🌙

This invitation came together rather spontaneously. đź’›

This week, I’m hosting two Monthly Integration Calls where we’ll be exploring something so many people experience with sleep:

That feeling of being deeply tired… but somehow still wired.

And I’ve decided to open both calls to everyone, completely free.

We’ll spend our time together exploring what may be happening beneath that tired-but-wired feeling, why the brain can become more active at bedtime, and gentle ways we can begin offering the nervous system more understanding and support.

You can join me:

✨ Thursday, September 3
✨ Saturday, September 5

Come to either call or join us for both.

Each call will be approximately 90 minutes, and everyone who registers will receive the replay.

If this is something you’ve been experiencing, I’d love to have you with us.

Sometimes we put so much pressure on bedtime to be the moment when everything finally settles.
But support can happen long before your head reaches the pillow.

A pause. A little more space. Noticing what your body is asking for. Responding with kindness instead of pushing through.

These small moments may not feel dramatic, but they can be meaningful ways of supporting your nervous system throughout the day.

Sometimes support means meeting yourself exactly where you are.

There may be days when you have the capacity to explore a little more deeply, and other days when your nervous system asks for more space. Neither is better or more “right.”

Learning to notice your capacity—and allowing that to guide you—is part of building a more supportive relationship with yourself. 🌿

What happens when we stop asking our body to hurry up and heal?

In this spontaneous conversation, my friend Gineen Nicholls and I started by talking about a recent fall and ankle injury. We had actually connected that morning to do some EFT Tapping around the experience of the fall, but what emerged became a much bigger conversation about the nervous system, healing, pressure, resilience, and learning to meet our body where it is.

Gineen shares what happened when she fell down the steps of her camper, how her body moved through a shock response, and how the nervous system tools she had practised, including tapping and connection, were naturally available to her in the moment.

If something in this conversation gives you an aha moment, I'd love to hear what resonated with you in the comments.

Sometimes we think we need to know exactly what to say before we can begin listening to ourselves.
But nervous system support doesn’t require perfect words.

You can notice what is here. You can stay curious. You can let your body communicate in its own way.
There is no need to explain everything or get it “right.”
Sometimes simply being willing to listen is enough for this moment. 🌿

Did you know your nervous system is constantly taking in information from the environment around you?

Even when you’re not consciously paying attention, your system is noticing sounds, movement, light, familiar objects, and what is happening in the space around you.

Orienting is a gentle way of bringing some of that noticing into awareness.

Not to force yourself to feel calm.
Not to make anything go away.

Just to offer your nervous system a little more information about where you are, right now.

Sometimes, that simple noticing can be supportive all on its own. 🌿
