In Traditional Chinese Medicine, late summer is considered its own season.
It’s connected to the Earth element and the Spleen and Stomach, making it a time to focus on grounding, nourishment, and supporting digestion.
After the outward energy and busyness of summer, this season invites us to come back to centre.
Think warm, nourishing foods, more consistent routines, slower movement, and creating a little more space to rest.
You don’t need to completely change your routine with the seasons.
Sometimes it’s simply about noticing what your body is asking for and adjusting accordingly.
