🍂 Behind the Scenes at Aurora 🌿

This is what fall looks like in the Aurora kitchen… bowls, bags, branches and bits of the boreal forest everywhere. 😊

I’ve been busy foraging, drying, preserving and preparing this season’s wildcrafted tea blends for our upcoming fall markets.

There’s something I love about this part of the process—gathering from the land through the seasons, then slowing down to sort, dry, blend and preserve what nature has offered. 🌲🍃

From the forest and shoreline to the drying rack, mortar and mixing bowl… each blend is prepared in small batches with care and intention.

Soon these little pieces of the North will be packaged up and ready to warm your mugs this fall and winter. ☕️🍂

🍂 Hello, October. 🍂

A new month. A new season. And maybe an invitation to move a little more gently.

October reminds us that nature doesn’t cling to what has finished its season—it releases, rests, and makes room for what comes next. 🍁

This month, may we own less, clear the clutter, take our time, offer our attention, buy intentionally, enjoy what we already have, and remember what matters most.

Not just less stuff—less rushing, less pressure, less noise, less holding onto what no longer serves us.

More presence. More gratitude. More time outside. More connection to the land and to one another.

Slower days. Deeper breaths. Brighter gratitude. 🧡

Welcome, October. 🍂
