Spring is on it's way and the cycle continues. 🌷 Most of us women have been taught next to nothing about our cycle and our hormones. We have been made to feel like menstruation should be hush-hush and that our ever-changing nature is a weakness. • Menstruation ~ winter ~ yin : the darkest part of the year and our cycle. More inward focus. Slowness. Nourishment.

• Follicular ~ spring : yin slowly makes way for yang to rise (energy increases). Renewal. Growth.

• Ovulation ~ summer ~ yang : the lightest part of the year and our cycle. Full of energy. Full bloom. Vibrancy.

• Luteal ~ autumn : yang slowly retracts as yin sets in. Energy wanes. Release. Preparation for the darker months of winter ahead.
