Being nominated for a Crossfield & District Business Award by the community I get to live and work in is incredibly humbling.

MyoLuxe hasn’t even been open a year yet, and I still have moments where I look at how much it has grown and think… how did this happen?!

The answer, though, is you guys.

The people who booked an appointment and then came back. The people who told their friends, family and coworkers about me. The local businesses and healthcare providers who have trusted me enough to send people my way. And the people who have cheered me on while I’ve built this little business into something I’m incredibly proud of.

I don’t know who nominated MyoLuxe, but thank you. Truly. Being included alongside so many established businesses in Crossfield means more to me than you probably realize.

I’m just really freaking grateful that I get to do something I love, help people feel better, and build it right here in this community.

I cannot tell you how thankful I am that Em at Isola is right here in Crossfield AND has restocked my custom MyoLuxe blend! 🤍

I was getting dangerously close to the bottom of my bottle and starting to panic that I might have to resort to some generic, store-bought massage oil. 🤢😂

Thankfully, Em came through!

MyoLuxe has been nominated for a 2027 Canadian Choice Award for Massage Therapists in Crossfield!

I opened MyoLuxe less than a year ago with really no idea what it would turn into… and somehow you guys have kept me VERY busy ever since! Haha

The fact that people have taken the time to nominate my little business is honestly so freaking cool!

🚧PUBLIC NOTICE: Temporary Parking Lot Closure – 1113 Railway Street

Please be advised that the parking lot at 1113 Railway Street will be temporarily closed Monday, September 21 and Tuesday, September 22 while work takes place on the property.
The parking lot is expected to reopen on Wednesday September 23.

All vehicles must be removed from the parking lot before 6:00 a.m. on Monday, September 21. Any vehicles remaining after this time will be towed at the registered owner’s expense.

The parking lot will be barricaded, and no parking will be permitted during the closure.

I’ve had a big wave of new and returning patients booking in lately, and September is already starting to fill up! Especially those coveted evening appointments!

If you’ve been meaning to book in for jaw tension, headaches, neck pain, TMJ concerns, or your regular maintenance treatment, I recommend grabbing your spot sooner rather than later.

I’m so grateful for every referral, recommendation, and person who continues to trust me with their care.

My favourite parts of being a massage therapist ❤️

After sharing some of the not-so-glamorous parts of this job, I thought it was only fair to share the reasons I love it.

Helping someone understand their pain.
Watching them regain movement.
Seeing headaches become less frequent.
Hearing, “I finally slept through the night.”

Those moments never get old.

It’s a privilege to be trusted with people’s health, and I don’t take that lightly. Every patient teaches me something, and every day reminds me why I chose this career.

Pressure changes, and thunderstorms can bring on the worst headaches.
Combat them with this technique!
Or better yet, book in for a massage treatment to relax all the neck, face and scalp muscles.

What does intraoral massage actually look like?

Many people imagine it will be aggressive or painful, but it’s quite the opposite.

Intraoral massage is a slow, gentle, and precise technique used to help release the muscles inside the mouth that contribute to jaw pain, clenching, headaches, and TMJ dysfunction.

We don’t force muscles to relax. We encourage them to let go with patience and gentle pressure.

If your jaw is very tight, you may feel some tenderness, but it should never feel sharp or unbearable. Throughout the treatment, we work within your comfort level.
