PLANTS THAT USE SUNSCREEN

Most people think of sunscreen as something humans invented. But long before man ever mixed chemicals into a bottle, plants were already using an incredibly advanced protection system built directly into their leaves.

Sunlight is necessary for photosynthesis, but too much UV-B radiation can damage living tissue and even harm DNA. Plants face this danger constantly. Yet instead of burning alive under the sun, they detect dangerous UV-B levels with specialized photoreceptors that act like microscopic warning systems. The moment harmful radiation increases, those sensors trigger genes that begin producing protective sunscreen chemicals inside the leaf itself.

These compounds are strategically deposited into the plant tissue where they absorb harmful ultraviolet light before it can damage the cells underneath. And if damage does occur, the plant has another layer of defense already waiting: repair enzymes that immediately begin fixing damaged DNA so the photosynthetic machinery keeps functioning.

Think about the engineering involved here. Detection systems. Chemical production. Targeted distribution. DNA repair mechanisms. Timing. Regulation. Information storage. Every part must already exist and work together simultaneously for the plant to survive.

Evolution asks people to believe this entire coordinated defense system assembled itself slowly through blind accidents while the plant somehow survived incomplete stages along the way. But sunscreen is useless without detection. Detection is pointless without repair. Repair mechanisms are meaningless without the information needed to rebuild damaged DNA correctly.

The reality is far more obvious.

Plants reveal intelligence because they were designed with intelligence. The same God who created the sun also designed living things to survive beneath it. Even in a fallen world filled with decay and death, creation still carries unmistakable fingerprints of engineering, foresight, and purpose.

A bottle of human sunscreen requires chemists, laboratories, testing, and intelligence to create. Yet we are told the vastly more advanced sunscreen systems inside plants somehow made themselves with no designer at all.

That is not science. That is faith in accidents.
