🎓 And just like that… our summer students are heading off to their next adventure! ❤️
This weekend, we say a very big THANK YOU and GOOD LUCK to Sitara and Sarah as they head off to their post-secondary schools.
What a summer it has been! We are incredibly grateful for the energy, enthusiasm, hard work and fresh ideas they brought to the pharmacy — and we’re pretty sure our patients are going to miss seeing their smiling faces just as much as we will!
Sitara took on some BIG projects this summer. She developed and implemented our new Ontario Minor Ailments workflow, creating hands-on tools while embracing digital scheduling technology to help make access to these services easier for our patients. She also created our entire Minor Ailments social media campaign, which we’ll be rolling out soon — so keep your eyes peeled! 👀
She also helped create the visuals for our August community presentation, “What Your Pharmacist Can Do for You.” This was such an important project for us because it gave our rural community the opportunity to learn about the resources available through pharmacies in Ontario and how pharmacists can help improve access to care right here in our own community.
Sarah spent her summer learning the ins and outs of pharmacy and, more importantly, discovering just how much impact a small rural pharmacy can have on the lives of its patients. She brought kindness, curiosity and a genuine interest in every person who walked through our doors. Our patients looked forward to seeing her smiling face every day, and we were so impressed by the care and attention she gave to every interaction.
Both of you contributed so much more than you probably realize. You helped us move projects forward, brought new ideas to the table, connected with our patients and became a valued part of our pharmacy family.
We are so proud of you both and excited to see where your education takes you next. Go learn lots, meet wonderful people, have some fun — and remember your little rural pharmacy back home!
Good luck, Sitara & Sarah. We’ll miss you! 🎓
