✨ Practical education, trusted supplies, and reliable sterilization — all in one place for foot care nurses. I’m Chrystal Stevens, LPN, founder of Longevity Foot Care Supplies and a foot care nurse and supplier since 2016. I built this platform for nurses like you—people who want real answers, smart tools, and education that actually makes sense in everyday practice. I believe in breaking down med

ical processes into straightforward, doable steps—because confident care starts with clarity. I’ve spent years immersed in this profession: teaching, researching, building custom kits for nurses across Canada, and even traveling internationally to gain fresh insights I can pass along to my colleagues. To be a trusted guide—someone who’s not only qualified, but invested in your success. Whether you need tailored product support, thoughtful clinical education, or just a solid recommendation from someone who gets it—I’m here for that.

Because Longevity Mama over purchased for the sake of fundraising. 😅

But it’s perfect, because I’m always looking for a way to sneak in a ‘Thank-you’ for my wonderful customers. 🤩

RNFBC BURSARY APPLICATION

OPENING JUNE 15, 2026

RNFBC is pleased to announce that applications for the 2026 Bursary Program will open on June 15, 2026. Once again, there is no application fee, making it easier for eligible nursing students and nurses across British Columbia to apply.

This year, we will award more than 650 bursaries, each valued at a minimum of $1,500. Based on previous years, applicants have approximately a 1 in 5 chance of receiving funding. We are deeply grateful to the BC Ministry of Health and RNFBC’s generous donors for making this level of support possible.

Our goal is to reach and support as many nursing students and nurses as possible as they pursue education to advance their practice. In addition, RNFBC supports a variety of accredited certification programs including those recognized by BCCNM or provided by CNA.

We encourage you to share this opportunity widely with your students and networks. Please remind applicants to carefully review and complete the first page of the

application form, as incomplete or incorrect submissions will not be considered.

Follow us on social media for updates and key application reminders.

OK Nurses, you know how I like to keep you in the KNOW.

The Remedy Lotion has changed packaging and formulas. Both pictures are of the 4 oz Moisturizing Lotion. They now call it "Body Lotion" vs Skin Cream, and it is no longer "paraben free"

Also the price is lower!

So these changes will be reflected on the website, and you can find this product on our skin care page. Link Below ✨

𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗼𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁 Nail Tincture 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲. 👣

I guess the secret is out. 😆

The Podoexpert Nail Tincture has become so popular that it has completely sold out across both Canada and Germany. That’s great news for the product, but not so great news for those of us trying to get our hands on it!

For those who haven’t heard me rave about it before, the active ingredient is piroctone olamine—an antimicrobial ingredient with both antifungal and antibacterial properties, and currently no known resistance. It’s one of the reasons this product has developed such a loyal following among foot care professionals and clients alike. Also the bamboo extract helps the matrix grow a strong, splinter free nail. ✨💅🏼

The current estimated restock date is the end of June.

The good news? Longevity Foot Care has already reserved stock from the first shipment arriving in Canada. 👣

If your order includes Podoexpert Nail Tincture, we’ll process your order as usual and ship any in-stock items right away. Your nail tincture will then be shipped separately as soon as the new inventory lands on Canadian soil.

Thank you for your patience while we wait for this highly sought-after little bottle to make its return!

This program is designed for nurses who want a flexible, practical, and well-supported pathway into foot care nursing.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭? ✨

It is self-paced, with continual intake year-round. That means you don’t have to wait for a specific start date. Once registered, you can typically begin your coursework within 48 hours.

The online portion includes 11 units, along with additional embedded courses and resources, including:

• Medical device reprocessing
• Foot care nursing terminology
• Practical clinical preparation
• Business and practice guidance after graduation as you begin building your new specialty

The hands-on practicum is completed 𝒐𝒏𝒆-𝒐𝒏-𝒐𝒏𝒆 with me over four days. During that time, the goal is for each student to provide care for 13 clients, giving you meaningful hands-on experience before completing the program.

Students are also invited into my private student Facebook group, where I share additional education, resources, updates, and ongoing mentorship. My support does not end when the practicum is finished — I continue to support students as they move into this specialty, whether they are starting a business, working for an employer, or building foot care into an existing nursing role.

The full program cost is $3,315 all in (taxes included already).

This includes the equipment needed for your practicum.

In all the hustle and bustle of conference weekend — juggling responsibilities, conversations, presentations, and everything in between — I almost missed this lovely email from Foot Canada Training. ☺️

I was awarded a certificate recognizing five years of educator service; a meaningful little addition to my professional portfolio.

Teaching, mentoring, and supporting foot care nurses has become such an important part of my work, and one that I am dedicated to.

Definitely something worth sharing here on a page committed to serving foot care nurses through education, supplies, mentorship, and a whole lot of passion for this specialty. 🦶

Anyone who has ever met me knows I have a certain… energy 😆

Chatty and warm, a little silly, constantly moving, and honestly? A bit of a photo bomber. Add me to a group picture and there’s a very good chance I’ll either be blurry, mid-sentence, making a weird face, or hollering out some ridiculous comment while everybody else tries to behave 🫣

But thankfully, for at least a few moments at the CAFCN Conference in Toronto, I managed to behave myself long enough to get some cute photos for the Foot Canada Training album ❤️

I love this picture because it captures something great. Here I am sandwiched between two incredible Foot Canada educators — Heather Moxon and Kirsten Hansen — both deeply passionate about advancing nursing foot care in Canada. These are the kinds of nurses who continue showing up, learning, teaching, and propelling our specialty forward in the right direction.

That’s one thing I really love about nursing foot care. The learning journey is never over. The profession keeps evolving, and so do we 👣🇨🇦

✨💖 BESTIE ALERT 💖✨

Okay, technically Kirsten isn’t my ONLY conference bestie 😂👣

But THIS girl right here? Me and Kirsten always manage to pick up exactly where we left off.

With me on the west coast and her on the east coast, our friendship bridges this beautiful country 🇨🇦

And honestly, I think that says something really special about nursing foot care. We all come from different provinces, different clinics, different life experiences… but there’s this understanding and connection that happens when foot care nurses get together. We speak the same language. Pressure points, burrs, business struggles, weird feet, conference gossip, life stress, laughter… all of it 😂👣

Sometimes we only see each other once a year at the CAFCN conference, which somehow makes these reunions even more meaningful. It’s like no time passes at all.

So yes… enjoy this completely normal and professional photo of Kirsten and I lovingly staring into each other’s eyes in front of the conference backdrop LOL 🌟😂

These conferences are about education, yes… but they’re also about friendships, support systems, connection, and building a profession that feels a lot more connected across Canada 🇨🇦

Two minutes before being shuttled onto the stage to speak to a conference room FULL of eager foot care nurses 😅👣

This is Janice Boudreau — fellow foot care nurse, educator, leader in our field… and yes, a little nervous before speaking. And honestly? I think that human side is important.

People sometimes assume experienced speakers don’t get nervous anymore, but standing up in front of your peers to talk about gold standard practices in foot care takes courage. The nerves just mean you care.

From the audience, I kept nodding at her like “we hear you, and you are absolutely killing it” 😂👏

And she DID.

This is what conferences are really about:
Learning.
Growing.
Sharing knowledge.
Supporting one another.
And cheering each other on while we do hard things.

Proud of you Janice ❤️
