Every year, the Canada Geese choose Cozy Nest as a place to nest and raise their families, and we love watching them return. The goslings are growing quickly and provide plenty of smiles for residents, staff, and visitors alike!

Did you know?

Goslings can walk, swim, and even feed themselves within a day of hatching.🪿

Canada Geese are very devoted parents and will fiercely protect their young. A family of geese is called a gaggle when they're on land!

As much as we enjoy having our feathered friends around, please remember to keep an eye out for them when driving through the property. The little goslings can be unpredictable, and we'd hate to see anyone (or any goose!) get hurt.

We're happy to share our home with them and look forward to watching these little fluffballs grow up over the summer!

Giving Back, Together!

At Cozy Nest, we are so grateful to be part of a community that gives so much— From April through July, we’re proud to give back in a meaningful way by collecting donations in support of the Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre.

Food security is something that affects many in our community, and we believe that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference. Our residents have expressed how important it is to them to help others—and this initiative is a beautiful reflection of their generosity, compassion, and community spirit.

Donation boxes will be available throughout our home, and we warmly welcome anyone who would like to contribute. Together, we can help support individuals and families who need it most.

Thank You for Celebrating With Us!

Thank you to all of our residents. Staff and family members who joined us for our Cozy Nest Resident & Family Christmas Party. We were so happy to see such a wonderful turnout and to spend the afternoon celebrating together.

The entertainment was fantastic, the room was filled with laughter and holiday cheer, and we hope everyone went home with full hearts and full bellies! And if anyone is still thinking about those deviled eggs… well, we’ll take that as proof they were a hit 😉

Thank you for being such an important part of our Cozy Nest family. Wishing you all a warm, joyful, and very Merry Christmas!
