Exciting news for massage therapists across Manitoba!

As of June 16th, Massage Therapy has officially been recognized as a regulated health profession under Manitoba’s Regulated Health Professions Act, with the establishment of the College of Massage Therapists of Manitoba.

This is a significant milestone for our profession and the result of many years of dedication and advocacy by those who worked to advance massage therapy in our province.

Professional regulation reflects the high standards of education, ethics, and accountability that massage therapists uphold while helping ensure safe, quality care for the public. It also highlights the growing role massage therapy plays within Manitoba’s health-care system.

Congratulations to everyone who contributed to making this long-awaited achievement a reality. It will be exciting to see the profession continue to grow and evolve in the years ahead.

🎉 A Historic Day for Massage Therapy in Manitoba 🎉

The Massage Therapy Association of Manitoba (MTAM) is pleased to acknowledge that the Government of Manitoba has formally designated Massage Therapy as a regulated health profession under The Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).

This milestone has been many years in the making and reflects the dedication, advocacy, leadership, and commitment of massage therapists, volunteers, educators, professional associations, and stakeholders who have worked tirelessly to advance the profession.

Today marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for massage therapy in Manitoba.

While additional details regarding implementation, timelines, and next steps are still forthcoming, MTAM is actively monitoring developments and will continue to keep members informed as more information becomes available.

We know many RMTs will have questions, and we remain committed to supporting the profession throughout this transition.

Today, we celebrate this important achievement and the many individuals who helped make it possible.

Added a new certificate to the wall! I am now offering RAPID Neurofascial Reset (upper body), I will add booking options for RAPID only treatments to my service menu soon! For now we can add it into any massage treatment!

Hey everyone! As of June 1, 2026 there will be a small adjustment to my massage therapy rates, along with the addition of a new 45-minute treatment option.

This is my first rate increase in quite some time and it reflects the rising costs of running a small business. I’m incredibly grateful for the ongoing support from all of my clients and remain committed to providing thoughtful, personalized treatments in a welcoming space.

I’m also excited to now offer 45-minute appointments -bookable through the online platform-great option for focused treatment work, maintenance appointments, or clients with a busier schedule.
