My name is Tessa Tersmette
My story starts off pretty rough! At 7 months old a waitress spilled a pot of hot coffee into my lap, resulting in 3rd degree burns over my legs. Shortly after, my biological father left me and my Mom. It was me and my Mom until I was 6 , when she met my Dad and he adopted me💕 My parents were so different, but both always encouraged self improvement, spirituality, and forward thinking.
I can still vividly see my Dad, under a blanket with his meditation stand, sitting in my parents bedroom every morning meditating. He was a Reiki Master and so we were exposed to these methods from an early age. Although, it would take me many years to truly appreciate them.
At 29 I was pregnant with my son, and at 33 had my daughter. During this time I lost myself. I was so entrenched in motherhood, work(as a nurse) and the business of life that I literally just faded away. Taking care of myself was last on the long list, right next to my relationship with my husband. This led to a huge disconnect in my marriage and eventually infidelity and talk of divorce.
Amidst all of this, Jori had a stroke and found Psych K while listening to a podcast. We immediately signed up for the Basic workshop. About a month before, our Dad passed away suddenly. It was a final push and wake up call for me. I had to take charge of my happiness and my life.
I know without a doubt, that all of my experiences have been divinely led and have purpose. To be on this journey with my sister ( and all of you!) makes it all the more sweeter.
Seeing the life changing moments in my clients live and being a part of their own journey to fulfillment, is an absolute honour.
