We’re proud to have partnered with Edmonton International Airport to help support the sensory room located inside the terminal at YEG.

Designed to provide a calming and supportive environment for travellers with sensory sensitivities, the space helps create a more accessible and inclusive airport experience for individuals and families navigating travel.

AHS was pleased to work alongside the airport team by supplying equipment used to help outfit the room and support the overall sensory experience.

Sensory spaces like this can help:
• Reduce overstimulation and anxiety
• Support emotional regulation during travel
• Create calming environments for neurodiverse individuals
• Improve accessibility and inclusion in public spaces

We’re encouraged to see more organizations investing in sensory-friendly environments that support comfort, dignity, and accessibility for all.
