What a pleasure it was to spend my morning at The King’s University, connecting with kinesiology students and sharing my passion for being a Registered Performance Dietitian!
I loved having the opportunity to advocate for our profession, highlight the many roles dietitians play, and share how we can make a meaningful difference in people’s health, performance, and quality of life.
But perhaps the most important message I wanted to leave these students with goes beyond nutrition and applies to every profession.
As AI continues to evolve and change the way we work, let’s never underestimate the power of human connection. Knowledge and technology are valuable tools, but empathy, compassion, trust, and the ability to truly connect with another person are what create lasting impact.
At the end of the day, it’s not just about what you know. It’s about how you make people feel and the difference you make in their lives.
A huge thank you to The King’s University for inviting me to be part of these students’ learning journey. What a privilege!
