You finally got your doctor to run the full thyroid panel: Free T3, Free T4, antibodies, TSH. So don’t let the timing undo all that effort.

Here’s the part nobody tells you: how you test matters almost as much as what you test.

✅ Test first thing in the morning, before your thyroid medication —> otherwise you’re catching the dose, not your true baseline.

✅ And pause biotin for 48 hours beforehand, because it can quietly skew your results.

It’s the kind of thing I always want my clients to know before they test, because the timing can change what your results say.

Save this for the morning of your next draw. 🩸🧪

Tell me below 👇 Has anyone ever explained the how of testing to you, or just handed you a lab req and sent you on your way?

Understanding your thyroid labs is the first step to feeling like yourself again.

But most women are only tested for ONE marker, TSH, and sent home with a “you’re normal” that doesn’t match how they actually feel.

That stops today.

Here’s what to ask for at your next appointment:

✅ TSH (but don’t stop there)
✅ Free T3 + Free T4
✅ TPO + TG Antibodies
✅ Thyroid Ultrasound if symptoms persist

Because “normal” on paper and feeling like yourself are two very different things.

Your symptoms matter. Your numbers are only part of the story.

If you want the full breakdown, what each test means, what to watch for, and what to do before you even walk in for bloodwork, I made you a free guide.

Comment LABS below and I’ll send it to you. 💛

The weight gain isn’t about effort. It’s about understanding what your thyroid actually needs and why the standard advice often works against you.

Swipe to see what’s really going on. Drop TIRED in the comments if this sounds familiar and I’ll share where I’d start.

The number of women I talk to who have been told their fatigue is stress, or age, or just being a mom, it stays with me.

Standard thyroid testing doesn’t always catch the full picture. There’s often more going on than a single number on a lab report can show.

If you’ve been dismissed and you know something’s still off, I made a free guide that walks you through the EXACT labs worth asking about at your next appointment.

Comment LABS below and I’ll send it to your DMs.

Most thyroid panels only test TSH. Sometimes T4. Rarely Free T3. Almost never antibodies, or the nutrient deficiencies that quietly tank your thyroid conversion regardless of what your prescription says.

I spent years as a pharmacist watching women get told their labs were fine while they sat across from me exhausted, foggy, and frustrated. It’s not that their doctors didn’t care. It’s that standard panels weren’t built to catch what’s actually going on.

Here’s what to ask for instead.

Swipe through. And if you’ve already had this conversation with your doctor and still left without answers, that’s exactly why I do what I do.

Save this and send it to someone who’s been told her thyroid is “managed.”

👇 Drop a “LABS” in the comments and I’ll send you the full list of markers worth asking about.

Your thyroid medication is working.

So why do you still feel terrible?

This is the question I hear every single week from women with hypothyroidism.

And the frustrating answer: because TSH is only one piece of the picture.

Your levels can be “in range” and you can still be exhausted, foggy, and gaining weight, because normal range was set for a population, not for you specifically.

As a Pharmacist, I can tell you exactly what your prescription is doing. And as a Certified Holistic Nutritional Consultant , I can show you what it’s missing.

If your labs are “fine” but you don’t feel fine, that’s not in your head.

DM me the word THYROID and I’ll send you The Exact Labs to Ask Your Doctor For. Because, understanding your thyroid labs is the first step to feeling like yourself again!

I wish I’d known this sooner… when you’re training hard, your body doesn’t always see it as “getting fitter” It can actually interpret it as stress.

Overexercising, especially when paired with underfueling, can raise cortisol and suppress thyroid function. The result? Fatigue, weight gain, brain fog and that frustrating feeling of “exercise intolerance.”

Your thyroid thrives on balance. Rest, nourishment, and recovery are just as important as movement.

💬 Save this for when you need a reminder that more isn’t always better.

When my energy dips, I don’t reach for coffee anymore. I look at what my body’s really asking for —> more water, better sleep, and the nutrients that keep my thyroid happy.

It’s amazing how much calmer and clearer I feel when I support my body instead of pushing through.

If this resonates with you, let’s talk about how you can support your thyroid naturally. Book a consultation and start feeling like yourself again —>link in bio.
