No, dermaplaning does not make your hair grow back darker.
That is one of the biggest myths about dermaplaning, and it keeps too many people from trying a treatment that can genuinely improve how their skin looks and feels.
Dermaplaning removes dead skin buildup and fine vellus hair from the surface of the skin. It does not change the color, thickness, or growth pattern of your hair. What grows back is the same hair, just without the buildup sitting on top of it.
When done properly, dermaplaning helps smooth texture, brighten dull skin, and improve how skincare and makeup sit on the face.
At Ma-Arteh Beauty Studio and Medispa, dermaplaning is one of the treatment options you can choose within the Mystical Glow Boosting Facial or the Majestic Radiance Aqua Facial, depending on your skin goals.
