There is a lot happening behind the scenes at Unlimited Medical Centres.

We have submitted two pilot proposals for review and are engaging with government agencies and healthcare partners to explore better communication between resources, stronger WCB claim management and more coordinated care for injured workers.

We are also:

• Developing practical training courses for safety professionals
• Expanding independent medical file reviews and physician result sign-offs across Canada
• Learning how other provinces and territories manage workplace injuries
• Strengthening our physician coverage and providing walk-in care seven days a week

Most recently, Dr. David Kirschner completed an emergency medicine rotation in Yellowknife—gaining firsthand insight into how workplace injuries and WCB-related care are managed in the Northwest Territories.

We are not just growing our services. We are working to improve how employers, workers, physicians and healthcare systems communicate and work together.
