⇢ Eyeliner tattoo healing — let’s talk about it:
First things first… there is no real downtime. You can go right back to your routine. The only thing to expect is a little swelling and tenderness on day 1–2 (think: you had a good cry or a long day… nothing dramatic at all).
A lot of how your healing looks and feels comes down to the technique. I work very gently, stay light-handed, and never overwork the skin — which means less trauma, less swelling, and a much smoother healing process. 🙏
Here’s what you should know:
• Slight swelling + tenderness the first 24–48 hours is normal, that next morning after your procedure you may experience the most swelling, until you get your body moving then expect it to go down
• Your liner may look a bit darker at first — it will soften beautifully as it heals
• Minimal flaking can happen (usually no heavy scabbing over here for my clients)
• Keep the area clean & DRY — yes, this is your sign to avoid emotional movies for a few days 😜
• Skip mascara + eye makeup for about a week, this is important because we don’t want to introduce any friction or bacteria
• No rubbing, picking, or touching (let it do its thing)
• Avoid saunas, steam, and heavy workouts for a few days
Healing is quick, easy, and low-maintenance when done properly — and my goal is always to make the entire experience feel just as good as the results look.
Eyeliner requires atleast 2 sessions sometimes 3 depending on the case, but it is never complete after only 1 - so be committed to finishing all required sessions that I recommend based on your healed results.
If you’ve been thinking about it, this is your sign
