NICE has officially released draft guidance highlighting major advancements in endometriosis diagnosis. For too long, the path to answers has been hindered by invasive diagnostic procedures. In Canada, girls and women spend years on waitlists just to access diagnostic imaging tests that can detect advanced disease, but can't exclude disease. It's led to a reliance on laparoscopic surgery just to make a diagnosis.
