From growing up in the family business to now leading the next generation of The NAKH Collective, Aliana and Hussain continue to pour so much care into the students, staff, and community around them every single day.
This birthday celebration was a reminder of what makes this place so special. It’s not just a college or clinic. It’s a community built on connection, mentorship, and people who genuinely care about one another.

Introducing Nerissa
Director of Student Relations & Clinic Manager at NAKH Collective
Nerissa plays a key role in shaping the student experience, from overseeing clinic operations and scheduling to leading student support, engagement, and wellness initiatives. She’s often the first point of contact for students, bringing both organization and care to every interaction.
With a background in criminology from Simon Fraser University and over 15 years in the hospitality industry, including event coordination, she brings a thoughtful, solutions-focused approach to her work.
Outside of NAKH, she’s a proud mom, an avid event planner, and a passionate animal rescue advocate with a dream of opening a sanctuary for senior dogs.
