A big Thank You to Nipisihkopahk Elementary School at Samson Cree Nation for the warm welcome and for having us as part of their Indigenous Based Professional Development Day for the staff.

The staff and school are so warm and inviting, it feels like a real community and we were so thankful to visit, to engage and connect with everyone.

We enjoyed every moment - truly it filled our cup 🩷

Kookum's House goes beyond retail by creating spaces to preserve traditional knowledge through teachings and hands-on craft workshops. It bridges the gap for those affected by intergenerational trauma, fostering a meaningful and safe environment where individuals can reclaim their identity, heritage, and traditional practices.
