Walking for nervous system regulation has become my non-negotiable. But here's what I realized on today's walk: I wasn't actually regulating anything. I was just taking my work with me.

Sound familiar?
There's a massive difference between moving your body and actually resetting your nervous system. And it all comes down to what you're doing while you walk.
Here's the yes and no:
🙋♀️ Walking alone in presence (forest bathing energy) — yes, your nervous system gets the reset it needs.
🙋♀️ Walking with your girls, really connecting — yes, oxytocin is doing the work.
🙅♀️ Walking while consuming content, taking calls, problem-solving — nope. You're just relocating your stress. The nervous system doesn't know you're outside. It only knows you're still on.
So here's the real question: What are you actually hoping your walks will do for you? Because that changes how you walk.
