Hi everyone! The Calm Room team would like to invite you to our first event of the year! The Calm room is a non-academic space for Rehab Med students to destress and recharge. We are hosting a Painting session on Tuesday, September 20th from 3-5pm. Come by for the whole period or when you can to participate in a painting activity, meet new people, and explore the Calm Room space. There will be a prize draw to enter as well! This event will be hosted in both Edmonton (CH 1-79) and Calgary locations (DTC 030). Hope to see you there!

Feeling stressed or just need somewhere to spend some free time? Come check out the Calm Room in Corbett Hall! The Calm Room is a safe, relaxing space for students and staff to unwind. The room has coloring and other art activities, fidgets, puzzles, board games, Lego, and many other activities, as well as an area for yoga or meditation, and couches to relax, chat, or nap on. The Calm Room is located in room 1-79 in the Corbett Hall basement in Edmonton. Just sign up in the google doc below or stop by to see if it is available; you can pick up the key from the OT office (2-64). At this time, the room is limited to 3 people at a time due to Covid-19 restrictions. You can also follow the page on Facebook and/or Instagram to stay up to date on the latest events.
