A more personal post about growth, recalibration, and learning to slow down when life seems determined to speed up.
It's been just over a month since my vehicle rolled, and the experience created more than just an external disruption. It invited a deeper pause.
Over the past month, I've been navigating a flood of emotions while paying closer attention to how my body responds to change, stress, healing, and the pace at which I move through life. It's been a practice in grounding, reflection, and gradually finding my way back into the flow of tattooing, creativity, relationships, and daily life.
Many of you know that solitude is an important part of how I process. It's where I reflect, assess where I'm heading, and reconnect with myself. Whether that's through creating art, spending time in nature, cuddling my cats, or simply allowing space to be still, creativity has always been one of the ways I make sense of the human experience.
I'm incredibly grateful for those who have reached out with kindness during this season. From messages checking in, to thoughtful meals, to being spoiled with meaningful experiences and moments of connection, your care has not gone unnoticed.
This season has reminded me that growth isn't always about pushing harder. Sometimes it's about listening more closely.
As I continue moving forward, I'm learning to release old patterns that no longer serve me while embracing new ones that help me stay more attuned to my body, my needs, and the vision I'm creating for my life.
One day at a time. 🖤
