June 21 is National Indigenous Peoples Day, a time to celebrate the history, strength and resilience of First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples. This year marks the 30th anniversary of National Indigenous Peoples Day, and offers an opportunity to honour and recognize the many contributions of Indigenous Peoples and the experiences and leadership of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis physicians.

Sunday, June 21 marks the beginning of ceremony season for many Indigenous Peoples. Ceremony season is an important time of renewal that strengthens community and connections to the cycles of the natural world. We call on all federal parties to act quickly to move this legislation through parliament and help protect our most vulnerable young Canadians from the greed and profit motives of Big Tech.
