Going into the new year, there will be some changes to how I operate my business.
Its been a long and tough 2 years for my salon and my mental health. With lockdowns, cancelations, and rescheduling, I've had to organize a new way of accommodating everyone's needs while attending to my own.
Price increase for 2022 - With the increasing cost of doing business and cost of living, adjustments will need to be made. All hair services will be adjusted and the new service prices will be available online.
(Will be available after my last scheduled appointment for 2021)
Scheduling - thats been a heavy topic all summer. I've tried my best to accommodate as many appointments my schedule would allow, and yet I still couldn't get caught up. Moving forward I will be closing my schedule off and only opening it 2 weeks before the next opening month. This way it offers everyone a fair chance at the dates they want. Pre-booking is still allowed, but must be booked right after your last appointment. I will only be booking 3 months out at a time to ensure no more lockdown scheduling frenzies. I will be extending my working hours during week days to accommodate more evening bookings and extending my days longer for during the week; Saturdays will be half days.
My new hours of operation will be as follows:
Monday- CLOSED
Tuesday- 11am-8pm
Wednesday- 11am-8pm
Thursday- 11am-8pm
Friday- 11am-8pm
Saturday- 12pm-4pm
Sunday- CLOSED
Please Note - there is ONLY a 15 min grace period before you are considered a no-show and 100% of the service missed is owed before you can book your next appointment. Etransfer will be accepted.
Mental health - I pushed through a hard summer, with the heat, added pressure from those who couldn't get in, and ongoing abuse from those with added fear of covid. I understand these are stressful times, and that you are looking out for yourself and your family; but if you are that fearful of visiting businesses, please don't come with high and unrealistic demands on my business or others personal information. Its not my place to ask or to give it out either.
There is also a Zero Tolerance policy for abuse, I will ask you to leave and will not be welcome back.
I've had the hard realization that I may need to close my shop. Costs have gone up drastically, and I've tried my best to keep the chaos at bay. I'm going to give it another go, I hope I have the support of my community in the changes moving forward. ❤
