Honeycomb Hair Honeycomb Hair is the newest salon in Edmonton! Offering all salon hair services for all your needs Honeycomb Hair officially opened its doors on Aug 6, 2014.

It is owned by Krista Ostashower and Kristina Pidruchney, 2 women who have worked together in the hair industry for the past 3 years. Krista brings 18 years experience (Eveline Charles And Hairline International) and education and Kristina brings a fresh style and new eyes to the industry. To all our valued clients and friends, we all know that the province has removed the mask mandate as of tomorrow, March 1st. However, the city of Edmonton has decided to continue their masking bylaw for now. Honeycomb Hair will continue to abide by all federal, provincial, and municipal bylaws, therefore, we will continue our masking requirements at the salon. Thanks to everyone for your patience as we navigate this ever-changing world!

I'm sure that everyone has heard by now, but Edmonton is reinstating their mask bylaw as of friday, September 3rd for all indoor spaces. All staff at Honeycomb Hair will be masked and as of Friday, require our patrons to do the same. Until then, we still highly recommend masking at all times while in our shop. Thank you to everyone for your understanding and patience during this time! ❤

Hey everyone! Honeycomb Hair will reopen for business on Tuesday, June 1st! We are fully booked for the first week of June and are taking new bookings for the 2nd week. If you would like an appointment, give the shop a call at 780-452-1155 and leave a message. Krista and Kristina will be in the shop intermittently over the next few days to get everything ready for relaunch and return calls.
We are so looking forward to seeing everyone again!
Just as a side note, all sanitization procedures are still in place and services will be available by appointment only. Masks will still be required by everyone, regardless of immunization status

To all our amazing clients and friends...Honeycomb hair is still open to serve our patrons as safely and comfortably as possible during these trying times. There is a light at the end of the tunnel and we can get through this together if we hold on a little longer. We consider ourselves to be an inclusive and compassionate group that will always try our best to make you, and everyone else, feel safe and welcome. That being said, there was an incident last week in our salon that has lead us to clarify our restrictions. Everyone who enters the salon MUST wear a mask at all times. As stylists, we are unable to maintain 6 feet of distance between ourselves and our clients while providing service. Therefore we are cannot accommodate those unable or unwilling to wear a mask at this time as it compromises the health of our other patrons, stylists and our business. We thank everyone for their understanding and their patronage and please remember, we are all in this together ❤

To all our values clients and friends, as per the provincial government, all restrictions will remain in place until at least January 21st. We should be getting an update on Jan 14th as to whether we can go ahead for the 21st. In the meantime, Krista and Kristina will contacting any clients with appointments prior to the 21st. To all our valued clients and friends, as per the provincial government, we will be closing our doors on sat, December 12 at midnight. We will be working 12-14 hours a day to try to accommodate everyone that we can. Unfortunately we are fully booked at this point in time and are unable to take any more appointments before the deadline. To anyone who was unable to get in, we send our sincere apologies and look forward to accommodating you in the new year. Stay safe, stay healthy and a merry Christmas and happy new year to each and every one of you!

Dear valued clients,
Its official! Honeycomb Hair will be reopening for bookings tomorrow! With the announcement from the province today we can finally work at getting everyone looking and feeling their best! We will begin calling clients, whose appointments were canceled first, tomorrow and through the weekend to secure their spots. Anyone who had an appointment during lock-in will be given priority. There will, however, be some changes in the salon to protect both clients and staff as best we can. Here are some of the things you can expect to see at your next appointment:
1) please come to your appointment on time and by yourself. We will only be allowing clients in at their appointment time. We ask that if you arrive early, please wait outside or in you vehicle until we wave you in. This allows for maximum physical distancing and time for us to properly clean and sanitize between clients
2) We will ask that when you enter the salon that you immediately wash your hands and please understand that we will not be serving beverages in the salon at this time
3)We will be wearing masks for the duration of you appointment and we ask that you do the same
4) We will not be accepting cash for payment so please bring debit or credit. We will be sanitizing the machine before and after each client
5)We will be following strict guidelines, set out by the province. This means that we will only be taking one clients at a time per stylist and booking extra time for cleaning and sanitizing in between
6) We ask that you be patient with us regarding bookings. We will be running at lower capacity but will do our very best to accommodate everyone as quickly as we can!

Hello to all our lovely clients! We have not yet received a final decision on whether the province is going to move ahead with phase one on Thursday. We were supposed to hear today but Hinshaw said, at the daily briefing, that the announcement will come tomorrow now. If we get the go ahead we will begin booking on Thursday for appointments next week. Thank you to everyone for your patience as are trying very hard to work through this. We appreciate each and every one of you!
