Not in a “wake up at 4am and run 10km” kind of way 😂
Just a few small things that genuinely help your energy, mood, focus, and nervous system feel a little more supported before the chaos of the day begins.
☀️ Early morning sunlight in your eyeballs
Getting outside in the morning and letting natural light hit your eyes helps set your circadian rhythm, supports cortisol balance, boosts serotonin, and gives you a natural energy lift for the day.
Basically: free mood upgrade, courtesy of the sun. Use it while it’s showing up earlier in the mornings!
💧 Water + electrolytes before coffee (trust me)
Before the coffee ritual begins, hit a big glass of water (bonus points for electrolytes). You’re often waking up a bit dehydrated, and this helps kickstart energy, focus, and metabolism.
Also makes that first coffee hit even better.
🚶♀️ Move your body a little (nothing dramatic)
A short walk, stretching, or just stepping outside for a few minutes helps shake off the “I am not a morning person” energy.
📵 Delay the doom scroll
Give your brain a soft landing before emails, news, or whatever chaos is waiting. Protect your peace for at least a few minutes.
🍳 Eat something with protein early-ish
Helps steady your energy and keeps the mid-morning crash from personally attacking you.
